Using NZBGet on Linux for Usenet Group Access

1. Install NZBGet on Linux

• Open a terminal.

• Run the following, without the double quotation marks around ""wget"":

  ""wget"" https://nzbget.net/download/nzbget-latest-bin-linux.run -O nzbget-installer.run
  chmod +x nzbget-installer.run
  ./nzbget-installer.run
  cd nzbget
  ./nzbget -D

2. Launch the NZBGet Web Interface

• Open a browser and visit http://localhost:6789.

• Log in with the default credentials: nzbget / tegbzn6789.

3. Add Your Eweka Server

• Navigate to Settings > News-Servers.

• Add the following details:

  • Host: news.eweka.nl

  • Port: 563

  • Encryption: Yes (SSL)

  • Username and Password: Your Eweka login

  • Connections: Up to 20

4. Apply Changes and Restart

• Save all changes.

• Restart NZBGet using the terminal or the Web interface controls.
