Conducting Speed Tests with NZBGet Safely
Rather than relying on NZBs from Indexers, NZBGet provides a safer and more accurate test method. This method uses a temporary server entry and data cap to evaluate performance with Eweka.
Speed Testing Steps
-
	Configure a Base Server:
InSettings > NEWS-SERVERS, set up a verified Eweka server entry that connects successfully.
-
	Duplicate and Rename for Testing:
Clone the server and name it something like "Eweka SpeedTest".
-
	Limit Transfer Amount:
In the new entry, setOptionalto yes and defineX.Limitto a small size (e.g., 100 MB).
-
	Prioritize the Test Server:
AssignLevel0 and disable other servers temporarily.
-
	Restart NZBGet:
NZBGet will run the capped test automatically.
-
	Interpret Results:
Use observed throughput to assess connection quality and decide on port or IPv4/IPv6 changes.
