Installation
- First, download and install the most recent stable version of NZBGet for Mac OS from its download page.
- Note: you will need to launch the installer through the Mac OS Finder window.
- Open your Downloads folder and right click on the application to launch it.
- You will see an alert about it being from an unsigned developer. To continue click Open.
- Upon launch, you will be presented with the option to move it to your Applications folder. Select your preferred option and continue to the configuration settings in the next section.
Configuration:
- Click on the settings tab (found on the middle of the page)
- Inside the settings menu, click on “news-servers”
- Set these following settings:
- Active: Yes
- Name: Eweka.nl
- Level: 0
- Optional: No
- Group: 0
- Host: news.eweka.nl
- Port: Select one of the following:
- TLS: 563, 443 or 8080
- Unencrypted: 20, 23, 25, 119, 3128, 7000, 8000 or 9000
- Username: Your Eweka username
- Password: Your Eweka password
- Join Group: No
- Encryption: If you opted for a TSL port set to yes, if a non-TSL port select no.
- Cypher: Leave blank
- Connections: 20
- Retention: 0. Eweka has the highest available retention and adds to it every day. You don’t need to artificially limit retention on Eweka.
- IPVersion: Auto
